Info for New Dancers

New Dancer Lesson

The most important part is to show up at 7:30 PM the evening of your first dance. This will allow you to receive instruction from the dance caller (the person who will guide everyone through the steps of each dance).

I don't have a partner, can I still dance?

Yes, absolutely! A partner is not required to come to the dance, as almost everyone will ask a different person to be their partner for each individual dance. There are approximately 10 dances in a given evening, so there's plenty of opportunity for you to dance with, and meet, a variety of people!
